- 1972-1992, St. Asaph, founded and directed the North Wales International Music Festival
- 29 Jul 1992 died in Menai Bridge, Anglesey, North Wales
His main composing period for the organ began in the 1960's, ending in the late 1980's. His Invocations shows influences by and Olivier Messiaen; his Jubilate shows the influence of Stravinsky. Much of his work, including his Processional and Recessional, seems to center around the English idea of the trumpet tune.
