Synopsis
German composer, organist, and teacher
- Born in Biberach an der Riss on Sept 30, 1752
- He had his first musical training on the organ, keyboard, violin and voice
- 1768-1771 he attended Lutheran Collegiate institution in Esslingen am Neckar
- 1771 he became Lutheran preceptor and music director.
- 1792 he became the organist of St Martin
- 1807 he was appointed as court composer
- 1808 resigned and returned to being the organist at St. Martin till his death
- Died in Biberach an der Riss on December 1, 1817
