Synopsis
Heinrich Scheidemann (c1595-1663) was an esteemed German organist, teacher, composer, and organ expert. He studied organ with Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and was organist of St Katharinen in Hamburg, from 1629 until he died of the plague in 1633.[1]
