  • Born in Breslau, Germany on August 30, 1809
  • Studied with Friedrich Wilhelm Berner and Ernst Kohler.
  • 1831 became the First Organist at the Bernhardinkirche
  • He excited audiences in Paris and London with his pedal technique.
  • He taught Jacques-Nicolas Lemmens
  • Died in Breslau, Germany on August 5, 1863

His organ works include preludes, songs, fugues, chorals, fantasias, toccatas, and sontatas. There is not a lot of info online as the Oxford Music Online does not have any articles concerning him. He is a very important German composer though.
