German organist, composer, and teacher
- Born in Hanau, nr Frankfurt, Germany on November 16, 1895.
- He was taught music from an early age.
- He took violin from Anna Hegner, and Adolf Rebner.
- 1912-13 He studied composition with Arnold Mendelssohn (a great-nephew of Felix Mendelssohn)
- 1917 went into the army
- Died Frankfurt, Germany on December 28, 1963
