Synopsis
Andreas Düben (1597-1662) was a Swedish organist and composer. He studied with Sweelinck from 1614-1620 and became the "second organist of the new Swedish court orchestra at Stockholm, engaged from Germany for the wedding of Gustav II Adolf. He also was organist at two Stockhom churches, Tyska Kyrka (the German Church) in 1625 and Storkyrka (the Great Church) from 1649 or 1650.[1]
