Czech composer and violinist.

• 1913 born in Bučovice, Moravia
• 1929-1938 studied violin and composition at Brno Conservatory
• 1938-1945 studied composition in composition studies under Novák and Křička in Prague
• 1942-1973 served as violinist at the Prague National Theatre orchestra
• 1976 died in Malé Kyšice, Bohemia
