• 1877 born in Paris
• full name is Georges Armand Paul Jacob
• 1896 entered the Paris Conservatory, studying organ under Alexandre Guilmant.
• 1900 won first prize in organ
• 1892-1912 gave "Concerts Historiques" at the Schola Cantorum, during which he revived a wide variety of both classical and modern organ literature.
• 1897-1903 choirmaster and organist at Notre Dame de la Gare.
• 1902-1914 professor of piano at the Schola Cantorum in Paris.
• 1903-1906 organist at Saint Louis d'Antin.
• 1907-1950 organist and choirmaster at St. Ferdinand des Ternes.
• 1909 composed "Les Heures Bourguignonnes."
• 1950 died
